I actually found it pretty interesting to see where my writing voice and speaking voice were different and where I wanted to add or remove things. So this was a good exercise.

I find that such an interesting exercise as well. I’ll often read out stuff I’ve written to see if it matches my instinctive storytelling flow. I often end up changing writing based on verbal inclinations that sound more natural.

Narrating is a severe undertaking. I am the worst at reading out loud I’ve discovered.
I teach children to read so that’s not an ideal discovery…
